Thank you for your interest in becoming a coach with Harris County Soccer. Below you will find the information needed to complete your coaching course and Safesport. Along with these online courses you will need to complete a Background Check, Code of Conduct & Concussion Form. You can pick up a packet containing these forms at the Recreation Center or by contacting the Soccer Board. 

 
All Head & Assistant coaches are required to complete an appropriate Coaching Course, SafeSport, & Forms.

STEP 1) If you are a volunteer coach/ assistant coach we need you to register on this Harris County Soccer Site even if you do not have children playing in the league or if your spouse registered the player(s) . This will help us ensure that we are in compliance with Georgia Soccer and US Youth Soccer.  Just go to MY ACCOUNT in the upper right corner, then click on the VOLUNTEER tab.

STEP 2) Completed the required Harris County Recreation Department documents. 

STEP 3) Create a User Profile on U.S. Soccer Training Website U.S. Soccer Learning Center. Do not pay to complete a background check on this site, the HCRD will process one for free.

STEP 3A) Complete Safesport Course by doing the following:
Select Courses from the top menu
Select Available Courses in Popup Menu
Select Supplemental Courses Menu in the Left Banner
Sign-up to Complete Safesport
Complete Safesport Training

STEP 3B) Complete Coaching Course after Completing Safesport by doing the Following:
Sign-up and complete Online Grassroots Introduction Training
Sign-up and complete appropriate Age Group Training
6-8U - 4v4
10+: 11v11

STEP 4) Visit at Harris County Recreation Department at 7509 GA-116, Hamilton GA 31811 to complete the Background Check form.
